Magnus Kalkuhl is a renowned entrepreneur, researcher, and public speaker. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and raised in
Germany, his fascination with technology began at the age of ten, when he wrote his first computer program on a Commodore 64.Since then, he has built an illustrious career in IT security, serving as Kaspersky Lab’s first German Virus Analyst and subsequently leading their European Research Analysis Team before becoming Deputy Director of the Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT), which was recognized by SC Magazine as “Information Security Team of the Year.”
In 2013, Magnus ventured into entrepreneurship with his own company, Ionwalk GmbH, focusing on technology and security consulting. His mission is to ensure that companies and users maintain control over new technologies while sharing his research findings with diverse audiences worldwide.
